Need clearer support and cold-weather operating guidance
I’ve seen several comments about poor responses from Pebble. First, we had issues dealing with a Pebble representative. My understanding is that they’re no longer with Pebble. We had several questions to be answered and they didn’t respond in a timely fashion, or sometimes at all.
I am now in contact and have a good feeling about the few issues to be resolved. I will say that for a time, the phones at Pebble HQ were awful; I could barely understand what the representative was saying. In my latest encounter this issue seems to have been resolved. It would be nice to see tickets in queue.
On a separate note: we’re a bit miffed that now there is no mention of Pebble being a 4-season trailer. A big reason we purchased it is because we live and camp in the Northern Rockies, where overnight temps in September can go quite a bit below freezing. I am told the tanks and pipes are heated, but I do not know about the batteries. I’m pretty confident it’ll be okay down to 20, but wish Pebble would provide—no, they SHOULD provide—on-the-record guidance.
Along these lines: the RV Miles YouTube channel did an interview with the Remote Vans founders today, and I think one of the founders made a very good point about the purchaser of their product (and presumably Pebble) at the end of the interview. Check it out starting at 50:05. I think he makes an excellent point.
Great points made. Thanks for sharing. My handover with Pebble was not what I expected, and I chuckled when the founder in this video mentioned bolts under the seat, as I was finding random screws for a couple days (among other things) when I took delivery of my Pebble. Love the Pebble, but the handover was not great.
