Based on another owner's report, I inspected my solar panels and found similar damage. The two panels closest to the rear of the trailer are affected. I will contact Pebble support to see how they will rectify this. My front panel was previously replaced after it disappeared on a 1,200-mile trip.
Pebble treated this as urgent. Solar panels exposed to sun remain photovoltaic even if disconnected, so they may still present a fire risk. Do not touch damaged panels; Pebble may ask owners to cover or disconnect them until replacement.
Pebble is taking this very seriously and is working with the supplier to determine root cause and prevent recurrence. If you experience this, contact the service department immediately for next steps.
This is troubling. Pebble staff said the whole team is aware of the issue and awaiting investigation and resolution feedback.
I checked mine as best I could without a ladder. Nothing visible, and solar production topped 900 W yesterday, so I think all is well.
I am hoping the solar panels can be replaced when two windows are replaced. The windows failed to turn clear and remain opaque after earlier window resealing work.
