Why we chose a Pebble over future vacations

Sounds like a lot of us have gone through similar mental exercises on this. We didn't look at a vacation home specifically because our goal is to visit lots of places and people rather than being locked into a single destination, but we did compare against vacation options over the next 5–10 years.

We came down on the side of the Pebble based on factors like:

• Air travel generally sucks.
• We can travel with our dog in the Pebble.
• No packing and unpacking at every stop.
• More flexibility for spontaneous trips.

I totally get needing to see it in person before committing; we were in that camp too. I think you'll find that the Pebble doesn't disappoint when you see it in person.
