Charge a Pebble and Rivian simultaneously at Santa Nella RAN

Here’s the perfect Pebble power-up pitstop: both the Pebble and my Rivian charging at the same time while still hitched (while we have lunch in the Pebble)!

The RAN charger at Santa Nella, CA, has two very trailer-friendly charging stalls lined up back-to-back along the curb. Each can comfortably fit a fully hitched Pebble-sized (~25 ft) trailer, unlike some other “trailer-friendly” locations that can only accommodate a small teardrop trailer while hitched.

If you get lucky and find both stalls empty—with plenty of other non-trailer stalls available so you’re not unduly impeding anyone else by doubling up—you can charge both vehicles at the same time if you position your rig just right.

Currently, the Pebble can only charge at “open” RAN chargers, meaning ones open to non-Rivian vehicles via tap-to-pay.
