Smart glass works for privacy, but shades reduce sun heat

We've found the smart glass to be adequate for most purposes. The one situation where I would really have liked blackout shades was when we had really strong sun on the dinette area. Being able to block that at peak sun would have reduced the greenhouse effect and kept the trailer cooler.
