Request a bathroom outlet and better undercarriage sealing for bidet retrofits
I have little doubt I will be replacing the toilet after a year for boondocking purposes, but I’m determined to use my Pebble as ordered at first. I’m also adding a simple bidet toilet seat. I will be full-time living and often hooked up for long periods, where the bidet isn’t an issue. Of course, it’s just a plain old toilet seat when boondocking.
Trying to get technical answers from Pebble and have had zero response for weeks now. Demo models had their tank filler/evacuation pipe wrapped with electrical tape to prevent freezing. They had to cut out the bottom to do that, and I think if that’s necessary it should be included on the Founders Edition.
Also, can I get a 110V plug put in by the toilet for a bidet? Sales staff told me the bottom is completely sealed from rodent intrusion, but the demo model, which was off the assembly line, was a mice condominium.
I want to know the fridge, heat-pump unit, etc. There are so many new efficient products to help in boondocking that it is impossible for Pebble to keep up. I’m not expecting perfection, but I’m looking to the future for custom improvements.
Re: “bottom is completely sealed,” that is something I should have reviewed more diligently, so now I will have to wait for shipping arrival. All the intricacies on the bottom shown in the Owner’s Guide—various drain valves and such shown in not-very-detailed black-and-white images—make me question how well sealed it is. We will probably have to pass options along informally as tribal knowledge as we each try various mods to our trailers, like an extra 110V outlet for a bidet.
