Consider a solar awning for added off-grid power

Has anyone considered retrofitting, or suggesting that Pebble offer, a solar awning? It seems like a way to add solar capacity when roof space is limited.
Has anyone considered retrofitting, or suggesting that Pebble offer, a solar awning? It seems like a way to add solar capacity when roof space is limited.
Would solar awnings be longer? A longer awning shading all or most of the windows behind the kitchen window would help; the Pebble can become a little sweat box.
I’d be keen to see durability testing. That much flexibility is a challenge for the weatherproof panel surface. I’ve had flexible panels fail from delamination of the protective layer. Positioning for the best solar angle is another consideration, though the Pebble can move. Installing one on each side could improve shading as well as solar capture as the sun moves east to west.
