Will Pebble be at the Chicago Electrify Expo?
Can anyone confirm the Pebble Flow being on display at the Chicago Electrify Expo September 13–14?
Can anyone confirm the Pebble Flow being on display at the Chicago Electrify Expo September 13–14?
Good question. I’m still trying to find out the composition of the windows: glass, Lexan, single pane, or multi-pane? I assume the front cowl covering the HVAC equipment, which raises during transport, would help at least somewhat with front-window protection.
Another RV company with a huge front window ships with a canvas cover for travel. With Pebble, we don’t want to lose aero, so I’m thinking 10 mm PPF or windshield film.
The aerobox covers most of the front windscreen when deployed, but I may still install windshield skin to help protect the front and top windows. The windows are not glass.

I would think the lower front areas of the Pebble are more susceptible to chips from the tow vehicle’s rear wheels, so they will probably need protection too.
Yes, and the back lower panels behind the giant tires. First paint chip was from a couple-mile freeway trip from home to storage.

Ouch! Aftermarket mudflaps? Sadly that is not good for aero.
Re: $7,500 EV Tax Credit (due to expire at end of Sep 25)… (Disclaimer: I am not a tax professional). At least as it relates to the Pebble Flow, I don’t see how the EV tax credit applies in any form. The Pebble Flow is not an EV. Beyond that, the $7,500 tax credit applies to EVs below a certain price, which I believe all versions of the Pebble Flow exceed anyway.
The pertinent tax credits are those related to home energy, including a vacation or second home, which the IRS has ruled can apply to RVs depending on an owner's investment in solar energy and battery technology. Those investment amounts are supposed to be broken out by Pebble separately on the final invoice to help support this calculation for IRS purposes. My understanding is that tax credit option expires Dec 31, 2025.
I have the same question about the Chicago Electrify Expo. Any chance Pebble will be on display?
Pebble support emailed me today: At this time, we will not have our Pebble on display at the Chicago Electrify Expo. However, we will be attending the Dallas, TX Electrify Expo, taking place November 15–16.
Dang…. That’s so far away from the Midwest. Thanks for the update.
Just saw an email from Pebble about keeping prices as listed “as long as they can,” but think this only applies to Founders Edition. Unfortunately, Magic Pack is already at my ceiling for this purchase, so I hope I don’t have to bow out with price increases.
A story on an Airstream forum raised the question: is there a backup manual method to open the entry door? It described a demo unit that reportedly would not respond to tablet commands while positioned under a Wi-Fi repeater, until the tablet was placed near the trailer's internal router. Thoughts?
It would be great if Pebble had someone actively monitoring this server. I don’t know that this is the case.
Ugh. If this is true, that would be a dealbreaker…
I haven't had an issue with Wi-Fi not being able to connect yet, though I haven't been parked underneath a repeater. There is a manual key and many workarounds for most systems.

Good to know! Thanks.
Thanks for continuing the conversation, even though it doesn't seem like a lot of people are listening. This Discord is supposed to be the main source of information for Pebble, but it's pretty quiet. I have received my invitation to purchase, but there is so much I still don't know and I can't get answers. I would complete my purchase today if I could get more information.
We are mostly in the same situation. Early-owner feedback is great, but we can’t expect one owner to be the voice of Pebble and answer everything. For this kind of money, it is not reasonable to depend on a static website with mostly marketing FAQs. An active presence and regular feedback here, or a technical FAQ covering repeated questions, would go a long way.
Pebble support directed me to this server as an official feedback source just a few days ago: “for the latest updates please join the Pebble Community on Discord, and follow us on social media.”
New question: does the Pebble Flow have any built-in water filtration system and/or water pressure regulator?
There is no built-in water filtration system, but there is an integrated pressure regulator. We have only gone on shorter weekend trips and relied on fresh water from home. We have upcoming trips with hookups planned, so will test the city-water feature then. We have used Clear Source water filters and Camco inline filters for years and will likely continue to do the same.
Thanks for the water filter and regulator info! I will check out your other feedback.
Idk if I’m going to do it but I have the option 🤔
Is there any concern for front-glass protection while traveling, such as a rock guard?
I would really appreciate answers from anyone who has taken possession of a delivered production Pebble Flow:
I recommend reaching out to Pebble for these questions. Once I moved beyond preorder to order/delivery, I was connected with a team who spent a lot of time answering questions and providing updates.
The manual states “no more than 4-degree tilt down from the nose, no more than 1-degree up from the nose.” It doesn’t specify roll/side-to-side. During delivery, I was told 6 degrees.
Upon delivery, the listed items were part of the Founders Edition except blackout blinds. They provided a magnetic blind for the roof window over the dinette, but not for anything else. There was also a single folding chair matching the trailer color.
This is all very much appreciated. It gives an idea of what to expect from the ownership experience and interactions. I hope you keep posting updates for the community here.
Could you provide insight into how responsive Pebble has been to questions or issues since pickup? Also, does the production unit have any ventilation or exhaust fan in the bathroom?
I created a first-impressions post here; some of this might be covered there.
Thanks so much for the feedback. I appreciate the answers you were able to give, and I will reach out to the Pebble team about the remaining questions. I’m especially anxious to hear real-world hands-on feedback from an owner.
