We had trouble sanitizing our water tank. The hatch for the water input flips up blocking any access to a funnel or a jug that can be poured into there. How do people pour the bleach solution in to sanitize their tanks?
We are thinking of getting an aquarium pump to do it.

How often do you sanitize your fresh water tank?
According to Pebble Scout, their AI, "The fresh water tank must be sanitized frequently, including:
Before first use Before each trip After each trip Before storage Whenever the system is contaminated So essentially, sanitize before and after every trip, and any time you suspect contamination"
Very conservative. If filling with chlorinated municipal water and using a good in line filter, I'll sanitize once per season. Been doing that for 15 years of trailering.

He doesn't mention this specifically, but chlorine bleach is corrosive and detrimental to pex tubing, rubber seals etc. Overuse can cause cracking and sloughing of microplastics. Just a caution to consider.
A simpler solution might be to use something like this which you can connect in line with your hose or hoses and add the bleach to the container. This would probably be easier and cheaper than buying a sump pump. https://a.co/d/0gkqAmWD
Another even cheaper solution would be to just use a funnel to add the bleach directly to your hose then connect to water to let the water push it into the tank. Solves the same issue with a cheap funnel. I'm new to the RV world and picking up my Pebble in a couple weeks so if any seasoned RVers don't think this would work, please share.
