Anyone know how thick the mattress can be? My wife wants to know if we can use the high-end mattress in our current RV because she knows that it is comfortable. But it's 12 inches thick and might interfere with the Murphy bed.
We strap our thick latex pillows and blanket when we fold up so there is some extra space. Worth a shot if you already have it. Although I must say the existing one is quite comfortable and nice that it's not super thick to allow for blankets and pillows.
The mattress is six inches thick. With three inches of bedding, it still folds up nicely. We’ve also upgraded mattresses in previous trailers, but are quite satisfied with this one.
An issue with conveniently folding up the Murphy bed with bedding is that the bedding does not get much opportunity to dehumidify. My solution, at least for the pillows, which need it the most, is simple and keeps them from flying about while under tow: flat bungee straps.
I’d rather keep the bed in the lowered position while under tow, but Pebble warns of damage to the floor and bed mechanism. I intend to talk with Pebble about latches to enable leaving the bed down.
Great idea! Got me thinking about possibly using the underside of the desk to store them, perhaps with a cargo net. Something like:

The desk is a bit thin, so we have some reservations drilling into it to secure a cargo net.
There is square metal tubing underneath the desk. Looks like it's sturdy metal. I was wondering if I could put some kind of a loop on each end of the desk lengthwise, into that metal tubing, to attach a bungee cord across the top for the pillows and cargo net underneath, or blackout curtains. I guess for a cargo net you'd need four points. I'll have to look at it better when I'm not out in the wilderness.

I tried a pressure rod but the Pebble's interior is mostly curved and I couldn't make it work. There doesn't seem to be a good way to drill or attach a curtain rod or track. However, I have a hack...
If you leave the bathroom door opaque and leave it open, maybe prop it there with a shoe, it blocks most of the view between the two beds. Enough coverage to have room to change discreetly. If you want 100% privacy, you could put a bag or box on the kitchen counter to block the rest of the space.
The door trick works; we've used that. For another option, I hung a curtain with suction cups. Easy to hang, no permanent holes or alterations to the trailer. It can also be hung to double as a projection screen if you're seated at the dinette. If you wanted a more complete screen, you could similarly use suction cups to hang a smaller curtain over the counter. Just note that they don't recommend suction cups on the electrochromatic windows, so you'll want to attach to the cabinetry rather than windows.
I just looked up your post. I didn't even think of putting the wall divider back by the bed. The suction cups are awesome. I was trying to put the room divider up by the dinette. I don't think it'll be very often that we have an adult needing privacy on the dinette; usually it'll be grandkids or no one. Did you get special suction cups? Do you have a link? I might have to give that a try. For this weekend, it'll be the door trick.

They're not fancy or expensive, but they do have levers that help pull a little more suction than just press-on ones. And I haven't had any problem with them leaving marks; some cheaper ones I've tried elsewhere sometimes leave some sort of residue from the cheap plastic. I've hung the curtain across the front of the trailer too—not all the way to the dinette, but from the bathroom wall to the cabinet by the door. The suction cups stick just about any place on the smooth wall around the bathroom or the surface of the cabinets, just not on the rough textured surfaces.
We bought the suction hooks you recommended and love them. My hats are happy!

I was thinking about rigging something to attach it to the Pebble body when I’m working outside, hooking up safety chains and tank dumping especially. And then I thought I’ll probably just forget it there. Then I remembered you have to release the parking brake, so kind of impossible to forget if you’re driving.
Sigh… I really hate having to use it for auto dump. Not sure what other option there could be though, because of the gloves.
I’ve switched to using the iPhone app for auto dump, much easier to operate one-handed and stick in my pocket.
I need to use it and see capabilities. I always empty my fresh into gray and then gray into black for extra cleaning. I’ll try it this morning actually. Decamping soon.
How do you empty fresh into gray? Is it simply by running the shower, faucets, etc.?

We made a holder on the wall of our laundry room, by our door to the garage. Bought some magnets online. It’s close enough to connect from there if we open the garage door and the laundry-room-to-garage door. Sadly, it is currently with our Pebble in Fremont.

Yes, space is scarce, but this was necessary. The air purifier sits at the bedroom end of the galley counter, then travels in the corner below there when the bed is raised, with a bungee and Command hooks holding it in place. Probably in a container in the truck bed after we get to clear air.

Well, essential if you're caught in wildfire smoke so thick that it's affecting your respiration. I snagged one of the last air purifiers in stock at a Canadian Tire along the way. Although a bit larger than might be optimum, it's keeping the Pebble interior air clean. Could the Pebble HVAC do the same? I don't know, but the lack of easy access to whatever air filter the Pebble has and not knowing if it is HEPA made this an easy choice.
Oof, good call. Sorry to hear you’re going through that. One of the reasons we got the Pebble was to be able to get out of town quick when fire season rolls around here in central Oregon. But it would be nice to be able to have easy access to and knowledge of the filter, I agree.
Yikes! We've been looking at our route to Canada—almost all affected. I hope they get them out by August, but often those Canada ones burn until winter.
Has anyone purchased a wall mount similar to the one provided by Pebble for the iPad? I would like to mount the iPad inside of my garage and use the same magnetic backing that is currently installed on the iPad.
