Awning will not roll out after being stored wet

Has anyone run into problems with their awning not working? I just put mine back in wet and it didn’t roll back evenly. Now it doesn’t want to roll out at all. I’m debating whether it’s worth putting it out to try rolling it in evenly; however, the manual roll bar doesn’t seem to fit the hole…

The manual roll bar didn’t seem to fit in the hole on mine either. I decided to test it when Pebble sent someone out to perform recall work on two Pebbles in Florida. They were also surprised that it did not seem to fit and gave it a much stronger shove than I was comfortable trying. It snapped into the hole, and from then on would plug in much easier.
Really? I’ll give that a shot. Thanks for the advice.
