How to test a 30A adapter before camping

I booked campgrounds in August with only 30A service and do not really have a way to check the adapter beforehand.

Use a digital multimeter with a dedicated continuity-check capability to test each conductor in the 30A adapter for continuity. This can identify an internal break in one of the wires. It does not guarantee the adapter will work under load, but it is a useful pre-trip check.
