I have access to the beta update for cameras, climate, and more, but never received the rollout email. Did the email explain settings such as Boondocking Mode and how to use them? Was there also a beta update for the iPhone app?
No detailed usage information was provided. Some updates have been incorporated into Scout, including a brief description of Eco Mode, but Boondocking Mode is not yet referenced by Scout. I have seen no phone-app changes. The iPad climate button now shows an ECO indicator when Eco Mode is enabled, but I do not see that on the phone app.
Thank you. Strange that they would want beta testers but provide no information on using the new functions. Maybe it is self-explanatory; I’m going to dive in this weekend.
The email included this: “Boondocking Mode, a new energy-saving mode built for off-grid use. It includes automatic timeouts for lighting and outlets, load detection for appliances, and new energy meters so you can see exactly how power is being used.”
