Can a crossbar be mounted above the front roof window?

Anyone know if a crossbar can be mounted on the roof above the front roof window? I'm wondering if it would be possible to mount an additional awning up there. Looking at an Openroad 180 or something similar.

Permanent mount? Possible? Probably. Advisable? Probably not. The OEM side-awning brackets and mounting points are well integrated with the Pebble shell, including interior access panels for the fittings and wiring.
Even the factory mounts have reportedly had a resolved leak or two, so drilling and bolting through the shell is probably not a great idea. Given the smooth shell, a custom temporary mount could probably be fashioned with suction cups, such as https://www.seasucker.com/collections/seasucker-camp-line/products/monkey-bars-2020-edition
SeaSucker products are not cheap, but high quality. Other options are available. A temporary mount would allow removal on the road to avoid aerodynamic impacts. Just my $0.02.
