Question
Is the Pebble Flow VIN permanently affixed to the frame?

One question that’s been raised in my mind is the issue of VINs. I assume Pebble has done this correctly, but could an owner confirm that the Founder’s Edition has a VIN etched on the frame?

There is a decal on the frame with the VIN; however, I'm not sure if there is an etching somewhere else. It's not a metal bracket with an etching.
It may not be as much of an issue, if at all, since the Pebble isn’t motorized. You can actually register a hand-built trailer.
In many, if not all, states, you have to have a hand-built trailer inspected and then they'll issue a VIN. I can't find anything in the federal code that differentiates between motorized and non-motorized trailers. This is a good thing from the standpoint of theft, in my opinion.
According to my research, it appears that as long as it's not removable intact, it's good. As I said, I assume Pebble has done this correctly, but it's good to have confirmation. Thanks again for checking.
