Front dinette bed cushion topper recommendations

Has anyone tried to sleep on cushions in front bed? If so, did you purchase some sort of mattress cover for the cushion?

My daughter slept on the front dinette bed just in a sleeping bag. She said it was hard as a rock. If we do that again, we're definitely getting some kind of mattress topper or cushion to go on it.
We use the same, but the “duo” version. It’s a bit thicker. Super comfortable.
