Driveway motor fault warning while towing

Has anyone seen this message: “Driveway motor faulted, pull over and call customer care”? I also see a red motor symbol on the iPad. I pulled over while driving on I-5.

I got that error twice, both times when Easy Tow was out of power. The next time I used the trailer, the error was gone.
Pebble support told me to turn off Easy Tow and drive. I also powered the Pebble off and on. The symbol is gone, and I am driving with Easy Tow off. They recommended not using Easy Tow today; I will turn it back on later and update if the error returns.
