Pebble charger throws Error F on a 20A household circuit
I have charged from household 120V many times without issue, but every attempt on a 20A circuit now fails. I tried settings from 8A to 16A. The charger begins normally, then trips with Error F after about 10 minutes.
I am using the same 125-foot 10-gauge extension and Pebble adapter that worked earlier. Voltage and amperage test normal, and the household breaker does not trip. The Pebble charger reports Error F (short circuit). It charges at 16A from a portable power station with a neutral-ground bonding plug, and has worked at campground 30A and 50A service. Any advice is appreciated.

Electric trailers encounter inconsistent electrical systems at household circuits, rural buildings, and old RV pedestals. Suggested structural solutions are a marine isolation transformer or a tow vehicle that supplies a properly bonded 240V Level 2 source.
Many of us are already invested in tow vehicles or prefer our choices for other reasons.
I have used a sailing yacht throughout the Caribbean and Central America without those structural solutions. I will continue investigating and encourage Pebble to resolve these issues.
These charging issues are inherent to inconsistent infrastructure. A tow vehicle with a bed-mounted NEMA 14-50 can provide a backup power source for an electric RV.
