Carry a spare sewer hose and secure the compartment door

Recommended: spare sewer hose.
Should you lose the sewer hose, which I did, it is not easily replaced, and sanitary dumping becomes impossible. Mine departed the Pebble somewhere in Arizona when the little compartment door popped open. I thought that I had latched the door, perhaps not completely, and didn’t notice that it had opened until at our campground for the night.
I’ve been unable to find an exact replacement online. To assemble one, the hose itself is available, as are the camlock fittings, but the sewer inlet fitting I have not yet found. I await a replacement assembly from Pebble.
I will be fitting a secondary lock on that little door, and a spare hose assembly has been added to my list of essential spares.
Good feedback. Speaking of things that don’t stay closed, or attached: be careful if you remove the Pebble rear hitch receiver cover. Once removed, I found it really tough to reattach in a way that it seemed the two turn screws would stay closed. I removed my cover for pretty much permanent placement of a bike rack, but if I ever put it back on I can’t see it staying put for long.
I echo the experience with trying to reattach the hitch receiver cover after removing it to inspect the 1.25" hitch with hopes of somehow adapting it to a 2" receiver for an RV/travel-trailer-rated bike rack for transporting two 46 lb e-bikes.
