Undercarriage openings and exposed rear tank heating raise rodent and winter concerns

Re: “Bottom is completely sealed.” Unfortunately, it is not. Going under to access valves for winterizing revealed many openings. Particularly disturbing was the lack of insulation and shroud under the rear tank. The glued-on heat pads are exposed.
I began using a mint-oil-based rodent deterrent on my electric vehicles after expensive rodent damage, and plan to give the underside of the Pebble a good spraying.
Based on my experience in the Pebble over the last three weeks, I’d say don’t worry about the heat-pump issue reported in the review or the weird thing with not getting hot water when using water from the tank. My A/C was able to cool the trailer from 85 to 70. You could hear it—it’s not silent—but it didn’t seem any louder to me than other RVs running A/C.
The only real difference between showering from the tank versus city water was the noise of the water pump. Pressure and temperature were basically the same. The pump noise seemed similar to every other RV water pump I’ve used. It might seem a little louder than in my previous trailer while showering because the pump is right adjacent to the shower rather than on the opposite side. It did not sound unusually loud from elsewhere inside or outside the trailer.
