Charger Error F at lower household-circuit amperages

After reading other owners’ posts, I gave it another try at 16A on a 120V household circuit via my long extension cord. Bingo, it worked. I had been focused on lower amperages, repeatedly getting Error F. This is beyond my understanding at this point, but I’ll take the win.
I’ve started a service case on this; we really need to better understand this charger and its unexpected behavior.
This is just odd behavior in my world. Definitely better understanding needed.
